BEAUTIFUL UNISEX SLIPPERS AND SUPER EASY TO MAKE. SIMPLE  IS THE BEST . THESE SLIPPERS LOOK PERFECT ON MEN TOO.  GREAT FOR WHOLE YEAR ROUND , NOT ONLY FOR THE  WINTER . DON'T FORGET TO ADD NON - SLIPPERY TREATMENT TO YOUR SLIPPERS BECAUSE THEY CAN BE VERY SLIPPERY ON VINYL OR WOODEN FLOORS.

NOTE - SINGLE CROCHET CROSS STITCH

SC CROSS STITCH . INSERT HOOK IN THE STITCH , YARN UNDER AND PULL UP THE LOOP , YO  AND PULL THROUGH THE 2 LOOPS YOU HAD ON YOUR HOOK.

DON'T FORGET TO CHECK THE VIDEOS BELOW.

ALL MY PATTERNS ARE WRITTEN IN US TERMINOLOGY

MATERIAL:

HOBBY CRAFT SOFT AND CHUNKY YARN

5 MM HOOK

STITCH MARKER

BEFORE WE START LEAVE 10 CM LONG YARN END , SO WE CAN SEW THE BOTTOM OF OUR SLIPPER LATER ON .

 START WITH SLIP KNOT

CH AS MANY AS YOU NEED FOR ANY SIZE , TO GO FROM YOUR HEEL TO YOUR SECOND TOE .

FOR MY SIZE 38 I HAVE 25 CH  PLACE THE STITCH MARKER INTO THAT 25TH CH.

AND CHAIN  AGAIN 25  OR THE (SAME AMOUNT FOR YOUR SIZE )

CLOSE THE CHAIN WITH SLIP STITCH , MAKE SURE YOUR CHAIN IS NOT TWISTED BEFORE YOU SL.ST. NOW YOU SHOULD HAVE A LARGE RING.

CH1

WORK SC CROSS STITCH  IN TO THE NEXT STITCH , PLACE STITCH MARKER SO YOU KNOW WHERE IS YOUR FIRST STITCH . WORK LIKE THIS AROUND   IN EVERY STITCH .

ONCE YOU GO AROUND  YOU WILL SEE CH 1 SKIP THAT , DON'T WORK IN THE CH 1 FROM THE ROUND BEFORE AND WORK SC CROSS STITCH INTO THE PLACE WHERE IS YOUR STITCH MARKER ( VERY FIRST STITCH )

THAT 'S HOW YOU WILL WORK AROUND AND AROUND INTO THE SPIRAL , SO EVERY TIME YOU START A NEW ROUND   DON'T SLIP STITCH SIMPLY ,WORK CROSS STITCH INTO THE FIRST STITCH .

ONCE YOU WORKED  YOUR FIRST 3  ROWS WE WILL SEW THE BOTTOM PART OF OUR SLIPPER. WE WILL SEW  WITH A YARN NEEDLE OR YOUR HOOK.

TURN THE SLIPPERS SO THE RIGHT SIDE IS INSIDE.

I WILL USE MY HOOK TO SEW .

INSERT HOOK NEXT TO STARTING LONG END TAIL . SO YOU WILL HAVE LOOPS ON ONE SIDE CLOSER TO YOU AND ON THE OPPOSITE SIDE . YARN OVER  AND PULL THROUGH AND CH1

WORK SC ACROSS. SO LOOPS ON ONE SIDE CLOSER TO YOU AND LOOPS ON THE OTHER SIDE YO , AND MAKE SC. FINISH THE SEAM. FASTEN OFF , HIDE YOUR END AND TURN THE SLIPPER THE RIGHT SIDE OUT.

NOW WE WILL CONTINUE ON OUR SLIPPER WHERE WE PAUSED , SO WE LEFT AT ROUND 3 . AND I WILL NEED 3 MORE ROUNDS. I NEED 6 TOGETHER . FOR THE THINNER YARN LIKE  ARAN YOU MAY NEED TO WORK MORE ROUNDS.

WORK UNTIL YOUR SIDES GET TO THE TOP OF YOUR TOE.

ONCE YOU HAPPY WITH THE SIDES STOP IN THE FRONT OF YOUR SLIPPER WHERE YOU STARTED ( YOU SHOULD STILL HAVE  A STITCH MARKER THERE:))

FRONT PART  OF THE SLIPPER.

WORK ONE MORE SC FROM THE PLACE WHERE YOU STOPPED.

CH1 AND TURN YOUR SLIPPER.

INTO THE SAME STITCH WHERE IS YOUR CH1 COMING FROM WORK 1 SC , AND 1 SC INTO THE NEXT STITCH.( 2 STITCHES)

CH1 AND TURN YOUR SLIPPER.

AND WORK SC INTO THE SAME PLACE WHERE IS YOUR CH1 COMING FROM , AND 2SC INTO THE NEXT STITCH ( 3 STITCHES)

CH1 TURN YOUR WORK ,

WORK SC INTO THE SAME PLACE WHERE IS THE CH1 COMING FROM , 1 SC IN NEXT ST. , 2 SC INTO THE LAST ST.

CH1 AND TURN YOUR SLIPPER.

WORK SC INTO THE SAME STITCH WHERE IS YOUR CH 1 COMING FROM , 2 SC INTO THE NEXT 2 STITCHES , AND 2 SC     INTO YOUR LAST STITCH .

CH1 TURN YOUR SLIPPER

INTO THE SAME STITCH WHERE IS THE CH1 COMING FROM PLACE SC , THEN WORK 3 SC INTO NEXT 3 STITCHES ,  INTO THE LAST STITCH WORK 2 SC INTO THE SAME STITCH .

CH1 TURN YOUR WORK.

WORK 1SC INTO THE SAME STITCH WHERE IS CH 1 COMING FROM THEN  WORK 4 SC INTO THE NEXT 4 STITCHES , 2 SC INTO THE LAST STITCH.

CH1 TURN YOUR WORK .

1 SC INTO THE SAME STITCH WHERE IS THE CH1 COMING FROM AND WORK 5 SC INTO THE NEXT 5 STITCHES. AND 2 SC INTO THE LAST STITCH .

CH1 TURN YOUR WORK.

YOU CAN INCREASE LIKE THIS UNTIL YOU GET 10 STITCHES  OR MORE . FOR MAN YOU CAN INCREASE MORE BECAUSE THEY HAVE WIDE FEET.

WOMEN : 10 STITCHES

MEN: 11-12 STITCHES

CH1 TURN AND STOP INCREASE.

START INTO THE SAME WHERE IS YOUR CH 1 COMING FROM .WORK SC ACROSS FOR THE NEXT ROW.CH1 , TURN YOUR WORK .WORK 2 ROWS LIKE THIS.

YOU CAN WORK MORE ROWS LIKE THIS IF YOU WANT YOUR FRONT PART TO GO DEEPER.( OR UNTIL YOU REACH THE FRONT OF YOUR ANKLE)

NOW WE FINISHED THE FRONT PART.

NOW WE CAN SEW THE SLIPPER.

PLASE THE TRIANGLE PART  ON THE SIDE OF YOU SLIPPER LIKE IN THIS PHOTO .

INSERT HOOK FROM THE SIDE AND BRING THE LOOP THROUGH.( THE SIDES WILL ATTACH)

CH1

WE WILL MOVE FROM THE SIDE TO THE FRONT ALONG THE EDGE. SO INSERT HOOK INTO THE NEXT STITCH SO YOU HAVE 2 LOOPS ON THE SIDE CLOSER TO YOU( SIDE OF THE SLIPPER)

AND GO UNDER THE LOOPS ON THAT TRIANGLE PART  AND SEW WITH SC AROUND UNTIL YOU GET TO THE FRONT OF YOUR SLIPPER.

ONCE YOU ARE IN THE FRONT WORK SC THROUGH THE  STITCHES  AND THEN CONTINUE TO THE OTHER SIDE OF YOUR SLIPPER.

WORK AROUND THE SLIPPER UNTIL YOU GET TO THE MIDDLE PART WHERE IS YOUR HEEL .

DIVIDE YOUR HEEL PART IN HALF AND WORK 2 SCTOG ON 1/2  JUST BEFORE THE MIDDLE AND 2 SC TOG ON THE OTHER 1/2 JUST AFTER THE MIDDLE PART.( SO 4 STITCHES IN THE MIDDLE AND YOU WILL WORK  2X  2SCTOG).

TO MAKE THE HEEL SMALLER.

WORK UNTIL YOU GET TO THE POINT WHERE YOU STARTED.LEAVE ONE STITCH UNWORKED BEFORE THAT POINT.

NOW WE WILL WORK SC 2TOG . BUT WE WILL TAKE THAT LAST UNWORKED  SC ON THE SIDE AND 1 SC ON THE TRIANGLE PART(FIRST CONER) AND WORK 2TOG LIKE THAT.

THEN WORK SC  ON THE TRIANGLE PART TO THE OTHER CONER, ONCE YOU GET TO THE OTHER SIDE WE WILL LEAVE ONE STITCH UNWORKED AND WE WILL DO 2SC TOG AS WE DID ON THE OTHER SIDE BUT ,WE WILL START GO UNDER THE LAST STITCH ON TRIANGLE PART AND ONE STITCH ON THE SIDE OF OUR SLIPPER AND WE WILL DO 2SCTOG LIKE THAT.

SLIP STITCH INTO THE NEXT ST ON THE SIDE AND FASTEN OFF.

HIDE THE ENDS  ENJOY XX
